Frequently Asked Questions
Staging should be viewed as an investment in the sale—not simply an expense. By helping a home attract more attention, sell faster, and command a stronger price, professional staging typically pays for itself many times over.
Professional home staging costs vary depending on the size of the home, the number of rooms being staged, and the furnishings required. LynneMark’s full-service staging packages start at $2,200, with customized pricing based on each property’s needs.
Absolutely. Today’s buyers increasingly expect homes to look polished, inviting, and move-in ready—both in listing photographs and during in-person showings. Professional staging helps buyers understand each room, appreciate the home’s best features, and imagine themselves living there.
LynneMark goes beyond simply furnishing a home. Our designers understand what today’s buyers find appealing and use that insight to create a memorable atmosphere of comfort, style, and luxury. That emotional connection can generate greater interest, encourage stronger offers, and help the home sell more quickly—making staging an investment that can return many times its cost.
Professional staging is designed to help a home sell faster and achieve the strongest possible price. A beautifully staged property stands out from competing listings, photographs more effectively, and helps buyers form an immediate emotional connection with the home.
LynneMark selects furnishings, artwork, and accessories specifically to appeal to today’s buyers and give every property—regardless of its price point—a more elevated and luxurious feel. When staging creates greater buyer interest and stronger perceived value, even a modest improvement in the final selling price can more than cover the cost of staging.
LynneMark provides a customized design plan created specifically for your property—never a cookie-cutter staging package. We select the furnishings, artwork, lighting, and accessories needed to highlight the home’s strengths and create a stylish, cohesive atmosphere that appeals to today’s buyers.
Our large warehouse of on-trend furniture and décor allows us to choose the right pieces for each home’s architecture, scale, character, and likely buyer. Every installation is completed by a dedicated three-person team consisting of a professional designer and two logistics specialists, ensuring that your home is efficiently furnished, carefully styled, and ready for photography and showings.
Our process is designed to be simple and seamless. We begin with a consultation to evaluate the property, identify its strongest selling features, and develop a staging plan based on the home and its likely buyers.
Next, our designer selects furnishings and accessories from LynneMark’s extensive warehouse to create a welcoming, on-trend look with an elevated sense of luxury. On staging day, a professional designer and two logistics specialists deliver, place, and style everything needed to make the home photo-ready.
Once the home sells, we coordinate the removal of all LynneMark furnishings and décor, leaving the property clean and ready for its next step.
We recommend scheduling staging at least one to two weeks before your preferred photography date. This helps ensure availability and leaves time to complete any painting, repairs, cleaning, or other preparations recommended before installation.
Because most buyers first encounter a home online, staging should always be completed before listing photographs are taken. Today’s buyers expect compelling, professionally presented images, and a strong first impression can lead to more showings, greater buyer interest, and a faster, more successful sale.
LynneMark specializes primarily in vacant-home staging. Empty rooms can feel smaller, colder, and more difficult for buyers to understand. We use carefully chosen furnishings and décor to define each space, demonstrate its potential, and create the warm, luxurious atmosphere buyers increasingly expect.
We also offer occupied-home staging when appropriate. In those cases, we work with the homeowner’s existing furnishings and may supplement them with pieces from LynneMark’s warehouse to create a more cohesive, current, and market-ready presentation. However, in most cases we recommend vacant-home staging to ensure a clean slate that allows our team to maximize a home’s appeal.
When suitable, we can incorporate a homeowner’s existing furniture into the staging plan. However, our priority is to present the home in a way that appeals to the broadest possible range of today’s buyers—not simply to reflect the current owner’s personal taste.
When additional or replacement pieces are needed, LynneMark draws from its large warehouse of on-trend furniture, artwork, and accessories. This flexibility allows us to create a cohesive, sophisticated look that enhances the home’s perceived value and gives buyers the aspirational, move-in-ready experience they expect.
Our standard staging contract covers 30 days. If the home has not sold within that period, staging can be extended in two-week or one-month increments, depending on your needs and selling timeline.
Keeping the staging in place ensures that the home continues to look polished and market-ready for photographs, showings, open houses, and potential second visits. Because staging can help support a faster sale and a stronger selling price, maintaining that presentation is often far less costly than a price reduction or an extended period on the market.
